National Park Nerd

My name is Zach Rockvam and I have loved taking pictures of nature since I was around 9 years old. I am a 19 year old student attending Colorado State University. My family lives about 45 minutes away from one of the most beautiful places in the entire world - Rocky Mountain National Park. Rocky has a special place in my heart. Every time I travel to the Park, I am always amazed by the natural beauty.

Over the past several years, my family has been traveling around the Western United States visiting some of our country's spectacular National Parks. We have been to Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Yosemite, Glacier, Mesa Verde, Mt. Rainier and Olympic National Park. We have even been to a few National Parks in Canada including Banff, Yoho and Waterton Lakes.

Nature photography is my passion and I absolutely love visiting our National Parks and capturing a moment in time with my camera. That is why I created this website, to share my photographs and some information that might help travelers on their next trip to one of the National Parks that I have previously visited.

I have been inspired by these amazing places and I'm dedicated to trying to preserve our National Parks for future generations. That is why I have decided to donate all profits from any sales of pictures that I have taken while traveling throughout America's National Parks to the National Park Foundation.
